Getting started

Who is Zinventory Manager for?

Sellers on eBay, Amazon and Walmart who own their stock and want it stored in the United States and shipped from here. That includes sellers based in the U.S. and sellers based abroad who need a U.S. item location, U.S. delivery times and a U.S. return address.

eBay’s rules for stock held in the U.S. are explained in our guides; Amazon and Walmart orders ship from the same stock, and stock that goes on to those marketplaces is prepared and forwarded. See Amazon & Walmart Prep.

Where is the warehouse?

At 2807 Arthur Kill Road, Staten Island, NY 10309.

Do you work with small sellers?

Often, yes. Whether we are the right warehouse depends on your volume, the prep your products need and where your stock and orders move, so ask before you ship. Say what you sell and how much in the quote form, and we tell you.

How do I start?

Fill out the quote form. We reply within 1 business day, with a quote or with questions. When you accept the written terms, send your first shipment with a packing list. The How It Works page shows each step.

Do I need a U.S. company to use a U.S. warehouse?

Not to use our warehouse. We store and ship goods for businesses based in other countries.

Importing is a separate question. Whether you need a U.S. company, a tax registration or a customs broker depends on how your goods enter the country and how you sell, and a customs broker or tax adviser can tell you. The International Sellers page lists what we need from you.

eBay

What item location do I put on my listings?

The place where the item is. For stock held with us, that is our warehouse at 2807 Arthur Kill Road, Staten Island, NY 10309. eBay requires the item location to be accurate and the tracking to match it.

Read our guide to eBay’s item location policy.

I am registered outside the U.S. Do I need eBay’s approval to list stock held in a U.S. warehouse?

eBay asks some sellers registered outside the U.S. to get approval before they ship items from a warehouse in another country. The requirement depends on your registration country and your account history.

If eBay asks, we confirm our address and the stock we hold for you in writing. Read our guide to the approval rule.

Can I use your address as my eBay return address?

Yes. Returns come to the same address as your stock. We inspect each item and follow your instructions: restock, hold, forward or dispose.

Read our guide to eBay’s U.S. return address rule.

Other marketplaces

Do you handle Amazon and Walmart stock as well?

Yes. Amazon and Walmart orders are picked, packed and shipped from the same stock as your eBay orders. Stock that goes on from our warehouse is verified against your inbound plan, prepared to the requirements you send us and forwarded to the destination you name, with tracking.

See Amazon & Walmart Prep for the steps.

Are you affiliated with eBay, Amazon or Walmart?

No. We are an independent company and are not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by eBay, Amazon or Walmart.

Sending stock to us

How should I prepare a shipment to your warehouse?

Send a packing list before the shipment leaves: the number of cartons, the SKU and quantity in each one, any prep the stock needs and where it goes next. Put your account name and a carton number on the outside of every carton, and send us the tracking number.

The full checklist is in our guide to preparing a shipment.

Which products do you not accept?

The lists are on the Prohibited & Restricted Items page. The quote form asks what you sell, so we can tell you before you ship anything.

Working with us

How do I know what is happening with my stock?

You hear from us at each step: when a shipment is checked in, when stock moves, when an order ships with its tracking number, and when something needs your decision.

How do I reach you?

Use the quote form for new business and the Contact page for everything else. Phone: +1 (917) 300-0714. Email: support@zinventorymanager.com.

Other questions

Which carriers do you ship with?

We ship with FedEx, UPS and USPS. The carrier and service for each parcel are chosen by its weight, size and destination.

How do you charge?

You pay for the work we do: receiving, storage, prep, picking and packing, and any extra work you ask for, plus shipping. Your quote shows each of these as its own line, and you pay only for the services you use.

See how pricing works.
