How It Works

Six steps, from your quote to your invoice. Each one shows what you do and what we do.

The steps

Step 1 of 6

Get a quote

You tell us what you sell, how much moves, what the products need and where stock and orders go. We reply with rates and written terms.

  • First reply within 1 business day

You

  • Fill out the quote form: your volume, product sizes and weights, any prep work, and where your stock and orders move. It takes a few minutes.
  • Read the rates and the terms. Ask about anything that is unclear.
  • Accept them in writing when you are ready.

We

  • Read your answers and reply with questions or a quote.
  • Tell you if we cannot take your products.
  • Once you accept, send you the delivery address and what the packing list should show.

Step 2 of 6

Send your stock

Your cartons travel from your supplier, or from wherever your stock is now, to our warehouse.

You

  • Send the inbound plan: the packing list with cartons, SKUs and quantities, any prep the stock needs, and where it goes next.
  • Number every carton and write your account name on it.
  • Arrange transport to our address. For shipments from abroad, customs clearance and duties are handled by you or your broker.
  • Send us the tracking number.

We

  • Answer questions about your packing list before the shipment leaves.
  • Tell you when the delivery arrives.

Step 3 of 6

We receive and shelve it

We match the delivery to your account, count it against your list and shelve it.

  • Item location: Staten Island, NY

You

  • Answer questions about anything that does not match the list.
  • Set the item location on your listings to our address once the stock is in.

We

  • Identify each carton by your account name and carton number.
  • Count cartons and units against your packing list.
  • Put every SKU in its location, on shelving or on a pallet position, and add it to your stock count.
  • Tell you when the stock is counted and available.

Step 4 of 6

Orders ship

A buyer orders. We pick and pack the item, hand the parcel to the carrier and record the tracking number.

  • Carriers: FedEx, UPS, USPS

You

  • Choose a handling time that matches our order cutoff.
  • Answer messages from your buyers.

We

  • Receive each order with its items, quantities and the buyer’s address.
  • Pick each item from its shelf location and check it against the order.
  • Pack, weigh and label the parcel and hand it to the carrier.
  • Record the tracking number and tell you the order has shipped.

Step 5 of 6

Returns come back

A buyer returns an item to the same U.S. address. We inspect it and follow your instructions.

You

  • Use our address as your return address on eBay.
  • Decide the refund and answer the buyer.
  • Tell us what to do with returned items in each condition: restock, hold, forward or dispose.

We

  • Match the parcel to your account and the order.
  • Open it and record what came back and in what condition.
  • Follow your instructions and update your stock count.

Step 6 of 6

You get an invoice

Each charge is listed on its own line, so you can check the invoice against what happened in the period it covers.

You

  • Check the lines against your orders and inbound shipments.
  • Tell us if a line looks wrong.

We

  • List each charge on its own line: receiving, storage, pick and pack, returns, prep, forwarding, extra work and shipping.
  • Correct any line that is wrong.

Before you start

From abroad

Sending stock from outside the U.S.

Our steps are the same. What differs is everything before our door: export paperwork, U.S. customs, duties and the transport itself, which are handled by you, your freight forwarder and your customs broker.

Steps for international sellers

eBay

Rules for accounts registered abroad

If your eBay account is registered outside the U.S., eBay’s rules for overseas warehouses and for returns may apply to you.

Amazon and Walmart

Amazon and Walmart orders ship from the same stock as your eBay orders. Stock that goes on from our warehouse is verified, prepared to the requirements you send us and forwarded to the destination you name.
